Grilled Skirt Steak Skewers



Skirt steak skewers that are grilled and marinated in a tasty mix of soy sauce, honey, and spices. Great for a summer party or barbecue!

Ingredients:

  • 5 lbs skirt steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions:

Mix honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, and black pepper in a bowl

This will make the marinade

Put the thinly sliced skirt steak in a shallow dish or a plastic bag that can be closed again

Cover all of the steak with the marinade by pouring it over it

Put the meat in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or better yet, overnight, to make the flavor stronger

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Put the skirt steak slices that have been marinated on the wet wooden skewers and weave them back and forth

Put the skewers on a grill that has already been heated up

Cook for three to four minutes on each side, or until the steak is done the way you like it and has a nice char

Once the skewers are done, take them off the grill and let them rest for a few minutes

Enjoy the grilled skirt steak skewers with your favorite sides from the grill
